- 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 2 bell peppers (any color)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips, chop the onion and bell peppers, and mince the garlic.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil until shimmering.
- Sear the beef in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned, then remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp; add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Return beef to skillet; add soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and optional spices. Stir well and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve over warm white rice and garnish with parsley.
