- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, gently combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, green onions, breadcrumbs, egg, and lemon juice.
- Shape the mixture into patties about half an inch thick and place them on parchment-lined plates.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry patties for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer cooked cakes to paper towels to drain excess oil before serving hot with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauces.
