Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

- Juice of 4–5 lemons (about ¾ cup)
- 5 cups water (1 cup for syrup, 4 cups for lemonade)
Instructions
- Juice the lemons until you have about ¾ cup of juice; set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine half of the lemon peels, blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium until the sugar dissolves and berries pop (3-4 minutes).
- Remove from heat; cool slightly, then strain out solids using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
- In a large pitcher, mix the blueberry syrup with 4 cups cold water; stir well to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving over ice with optional garnishes like mint leaves or lemon slices.
