- 6 ears fresh sweet corn
- 1 stick unsalted butter (½ cup), melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Remove husks and silk from corn. If grilling, soak corn in water for 15 minutes.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic; cook until fragrant. Season with salt and set aside.
- Choose your cooking method:
- Grilling: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Wrap corn in aluminum foil or grill directly for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
- Oven Roasting: Preheat oven to 375°F. Place corn on a baking sheet, brush half of the garlic butter over it and roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Brush remaining butter and top with cheese.
- Boiling: Boil corn in salted water for 5–7 minutes until tender. Brush with garlic butter and top with cheese before serving.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley and additional seasonings if desired.
