- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 3 medium ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup peach juice (from canned or fresh peaches)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions and pour it into the dish. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled for 10 minutes, poke holes all over the top of the cake using a wooden spoon handle or skewer.
- While still warm, pour peach juice over the cake, allowing it to soak in completely. Let cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Spread evenly over the cooled cake.
- Top with sliced peaches and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
