Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and remaining sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
- Gently fold in blueberries and lemon juice.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
