- 1.25 lb chicken wings (wingettes and drumettes)
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 Tbsp coarse kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, kosher salt, black pepper, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about five minutes.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a medium bowl with olive oil and half of the dry rub; toss until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 17-19 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
