Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs by tossing them with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
- Grill chicken thighs skin side down for about 7 minutes, watching closely for flare-ups.
- Flip the chicken and grill for another 3 minutes before brushing with BBQ sauce. Cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Flip again, brush with more BBQ sauce, and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 20 minutes total).
