- 2 cups fresh orange juice (about 6–8 oranges)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Juice the oranges until you have 2 cups of fresh juice. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the orange juice, sugar, orange zest, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top for expansion.
- Insert sticks as needed and place molds in the freezer.
- Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
- To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and gently pull them out.
