  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with chopped pecans and shredded coconut. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; drop spoonfuls onto the batter.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.
