Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
