- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 (15.25 oz) box chocolate cake mix
- 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks in juice, drained
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- Whipped topping for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread pineapple chunks evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Layer sliced bananas over the pineapple.
- Evenly sprinkle chocolate cake mix on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Top with chopped nuts.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with whipped topping.
