- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
- 4 large eggs
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually mix in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in half of the chopped pecans into the brownie batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pie dish, layer with remaining pecans, then pour the rest of the batter on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set but slightly fudgy in the center. Cool completely before slicing.
