Ingredients
Scale
- 12 soft slider rolls
- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs (parsley and thyme), to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Sauté seasoned chicken thighs until golden brown (about 5 minutes per side).
- Remove the chicken from the pan to shred it once cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Mix Dijon mustard with chopped fresh herbs.
- Slice slider rolls horizontally without cutting all the way through. Spread half of the mustard mixture on each side of the rolls; layer with shredded chicken and cheese.
- Place sliders in the baking dish and brush tops with olive oil or melted butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing apart and serving warm.
