Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and brown sugar. Gradually add to the butter mixture until combined but do not overmix.
- Gently fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
