Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined. Fold in the butterscotch chips.
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving or frosting.
