Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and agar-agar powder, then gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
