- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz chicken or turkey sausage, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add sausage and sauté until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and splash of chicken broth; cook until shrimp are pink and opaque (about 4 minutes).
- Mix in cooked pasta, remaining butter, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Serve hot with additional parsley for garnish.
