  • Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Yield: Serves approximately 12 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) red velvet cake mix
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed (for crust)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for crust)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease or line a springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with melted butter and press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in red velvet cake mix until just combined. Pour half the filling over the crust; sprinkle chopped Oreos on top and layer remaining filling.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly. Let cool in the oven for an hour before refrigerating for at least four hours.
