Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients with milk, starting and ending with flour; fold in pecans.
- Divide batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before serving.
