  • 1 large Orange
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a saucepan. Zest the orange to obtain about one teaspoon of zest.
  2. Remove boiling water from heat. Add tea bags, cinnamon sticks, orange zest, and star anises if using. Cover and steep for 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Juice the orange while steeping. After steeping, remove tea bags and strain the mixture into a pitcher. Stir in the freshly squeezed orange juice and sweeten to taste.
  4. Cool tea to room temperature and refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Serve over ice cubes garnished with fresh orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
