- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine dry scallops with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Toss gently to coat and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and optional hot sauce to create the Cajun cream sauce.
- Plate by spooning the sauce onto dishes and arranging the scallops on top. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
