Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and half of the M&M's gently.
- Chill dough for about 30 minutes before scooping onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on sheets before transferring to wire racks.
