- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb crab meat
- 1/2 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups seafood broth or fish stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink (2-3 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add remaining butter and sauté diced onion, garlic, celery, and carrot for about 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables; stir continuously to form a roux (1-2 minutes).
- Gradually whisk in seafood broth until smooth.
- Stir in heavy cream, apple vinegar (if using), Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper (if desired), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Gently fold in crab meat, lobster meat, and cooked shrimp; simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
