Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb crab meat
  • 1/2 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups seafood broth or fish stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink (2-3 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add remaining butter and sauté diced onion, garlic, celery, and carrot for about 4-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables; stir continuously to form a roux (1-2 minutes).
  4. Gradually whisk in seafood broth until smooth.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, apple vinegar (if using), Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper (if desired), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  6. Gently fold in crab meat, lobster meat, and cooked shrimp; simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
