- 1 tablespoon Chin-Su Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 pieces slider buns
- pickle slices (as needed)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (grated)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and add the buttermilk, Chin-Su Hot Sauce, grated garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper, mixing well until every piece is evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the deepest flavor.
- In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and coat each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to create a crispy, even coating.
- Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a deep skillet or Dutch oven.
- Working in batches to avoid overcrowding, fry the chicken for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through.
- Transfer the fried chicken to a wire rack to drain excess oil and maintain crispiness.
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped cabbage and shredded carrots.
- Pour in the Chin-Su Sweet & Sour Fish Sauce and mayonnaise, tossing until everything is evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Chin-Su Hot Sauce, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until smooth and fully combined.
- Apply a generous layer of spicy mayo to the bottom bun of each slider.
- Place one piece of crispy fried chicken on top of the mayo.
- Top with a generous handful of the Sweet & Sour slaw and a few pickle slices.
- Place the top bun on the slider and brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of each assembled slider.
